Moyo Tento is a supporting character in the anime Wizard Barristers. She is Satan in disguise as a female paralegal who works for the Butterfly Law Offices. She is the co-worker of Cecil Sudo, and a subordinate of Ageha Chono. Unbeknown to everyone else, Moyo is actually Satan/Lucifer who is living a life in the form of a human female. Moyo has a sexual attraction to Cecil, as well as a deep rooted interest in her. She is living by Cecil's side as a human due to this reason.
She was voiced by Ayana Taketatsu in Japanese and Monica Rial in English.
Appearance[]
Moyo's jacket is red, and on the back is the phrase "GO TO HELL" in English, hinting at her true identity. She wears a white shirt underneath. She has short black hair and wears a black collar. She has yellow-brown eyes.
Personality[]
Moyo Tento can be describe as a carfree and cheerful Person. She is energetic and likes Teasing cecil at times. She has a major crush on Cecil and gets jealous if she falls in love with someone else. When Cecil left to the United States, she was sad to the point where she is mistakenly seen as Cecil's mother.
It is interesting to note that Cecil's birthdate is on Christmas Day, and her age, 17, in conjection with the year the anime takes place in, 2018, means that she was born on the exact milennia anniversy of Jesus's birth. This, combined with other things within the anime, seem to suggest that Cecil is either intended to be an alagory of Jesus Christ, or is supposed to be his literal reincernation; if so, this would explain Satan's unusual and seemingly innate "interest" in her.
