In an episode of the Mr. Men and Little Miss called Mr. Clever's Daft Bet, he appears to pull a prank on Mr. Jelly by pretending to be a ghost, as well as howling like a wolf. In addition, Mr. Jelly seems to get easily frightened while he and Miss Fun were sleeping. Mr. Clever also seems to be quite cowardly; examples such as when he had a nightmare about parachute jumping realising that the cord was not working well and especially the time when he found a tent in the chalet the next morning, and also in Little Miss Trouble and the Magic Paint, when Miss Trouble plays a prank by blowing up a paper bag and bursting it making him, Mr. Dizzy and Little Miss Shy run away in cowardice.
