Mr. Jingles is a circus mouse and a supporting character from the 1999 Stephen King's movie The Green Mile.
He is Eduard Delacroix's pet mouse who he took care of to keep him safe. He was nearly killed by Percy, but John Coffey is able to save him from dying with his healing powers, he then succeeds and allows Mr. Jingles return to Delacroix. Everyone was attached to him, when Delacroix was executed. Mr. Jingles escapes after being scared due to the thunders. John Coffey reveals that he has a dream that he is in the mouse circus to see Mr. Jingles. After John Coffey's execution, Mr. Jingles is under the care of Paul Edgecomb who nurtures him. He was a mouse in the Green Mile, that was named correspondingly. Everyone felt attached to him. When Percy nearly killed him to make Delacroix suffer from the poignancy of it, John Coffey healed the mouse's wounds.
Mr. Jingles lives in the old tool shed out in the woods and remains with there for 63 years, while Paul Edgecomb comes daily and feeds him with dry toast. After have lived so long, Paul broods every night that if John Coffey could make Mr. Jingles live so long, how long is left for Paul to live, until he dies.
