Mrs. Bailey is the housemother of The Starlight House and later The Starlight Mansion for many years while taking care of orphaned or foster girls.
Bio[]
Mrs. Bailey was no more than a device to allow Jem and the Holograms to jet around the world and not be accused of child neglect. Only known thing about her is that she had been with the Bentons since Jerrica and Kimber were little. It’s not even clear if she was paid, or paid by Starlight Music, Starlight Foundation or by Emmett, then Jerrica.
In the 2015 movie she became Aunt Bailey and was the foster mother to Aja and Shana. When Emmett died Jerrica and Kimber moved in with them. Giving Aunt Bailey a parental role to Jem and the Holograms. She also owned a resale shop that had lots of 80’s clothing and wigs, so the girls could dress up like 80’s popstars and party like it’s 1985.
In away Aunt Bailey was the authoritarian role Synergy had in the cartoon – since Synergy was slow being activated throughout the film.
