The unnamed mother of Moxxie is a minor character in the adult comedy webseries Helluva Boss. She was the caring mother of Moxxie, and the wife of Crimson, who wanted to protect Moxxie from the criminal activities that she was being forced to take part in by her husband. Because of her attempt to save Moxxie, she was drowned by Crimson.

Biography[]

Moxxie's mother, at one point in her life, married to the mafia boss Crimson Knolastname for unknown reasons and had her son Moxxie. During Moxxie's childhood, she would serve as a supportive and caring figure towards Moxxie in comparison to her husband, who was abusive and emotionally neglectful.

One day, Moxxie was learning how to shoot, and when he was able to shoot three targets in quick succession, his mother would congratulate him for the accomplishment. Other children would then appear and bring Moxxie to a stage where they tied a imp in.

Crimson would then appear and try to convince Moxxie to shoot at the imp, but when his mother saw what was going on, she stopped Moxxie and left with him while shoving the gun back into Crimson in anger. Later, Moxxie would see his parents argue, with Crimson slapping her before his mother left the room.

It's later strongly implied that Crimson killed her after this, as her shoe can be seen in the pile of belongings of people who were killed by Crimson for betraying him. Because of how much he loved his mother, Moxxie would try to keep some morals even after he joined I.M.P and became an assassin, with it being made clear that what happened to her in his childhood still greatly affects him as an adult.

Appearance[]

Moxxie's mother is a fairly tall, light red-skinned imp with a long demonic tail with white spots on the tip. She has black lips and eyes with yellow sclera, long eyelashes and black eyelids. She sports features similar to Moxxie's; such as freckles on her cheeks and digitigrade legs.

She has long, flowing and hip-length charcoal hair with bangs, and accessorizes with a red flower on the left side. Her hair also reveals her thin white-striped black horns, typical of female imps.

She is seen wearing a thin red-striped navy waistcoat with a large red bow tied around the waist, worn over a slight brighter-colored dress with red stripes and white-frilled trim on the short puffed-sleeves, a white high-frilled collar, and red-and-white stripes at the hem. She also wears white opera gloves, and white heeled shoes with red bows and toes - which is arguably her most noticeable feature.

Personality[]

Moxxie's mother appears to be deeply caring and compassionate toward her son. During Moxxie's childhood flashback, she was seen helping cut his steak when he was struggling, and also congratulating him when he shoots three targets at a theme park shooting range. She also dislikes her husband, most noticeably because of his treatment of their son. She may fear him, as she was depicted moving her leg away from his while sitting at the dinner table.

When Crimson tried to have Moxxie shoot a live target, she shoved the gun back at Crimson and lead her son away, showing that she was against forcing Moxxie into such a lifestyle due to him being very young. Their relationship seems to be so strained that Crimson was physically abusive to her at one point.
