Well, it is time for us to part, my little cheese-hunk.
~ Ms. Mowz

Ms. Mowz, originally named Ms. Mouse, is a Squeek thief that appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She is a badge thief that Mario encounters repeatedly in his quest to find the seven Crystal Stars; towards the end of the game, Mario can even recruit her as an ally, where she serves as the game's sole optional party member and either the sixth or seventh member of the group depending on the player's actions. Mischievous and sultry, Ms. Mowz constantly flirts with Mario whenever she encounters him, much to the annoyance of Flurrie and Goombella (the latter occasionally calls Ms. Mowz a floozy in the original game), as well as making Koops and the Yoshi envious on at least one occasion.

History[]

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[]

Ms. Mowz is found at Hooktail Castle, later appearing at The Great Tree in the Boggly Woods and then also in the Glitz Pit warehouse. Mario can also visit her in disguise at her Rogueport shop, the Lovely Howz of Badges. Mario then goes to the Trouble Center and accepts the "Elusive Badge!" Of ??? (amusingly, he's told accepting anonymous requests could be dangerous), and whoever I found is related to Ms. Mowz. She then asks Mario to find a badge in Hooktail's castle, even though she knows she is in Hooktail's room, although she isn't sure. She also has an address: "Use the power of the wind...". If the player goes to Hooktail's room and uses Flurrie's ability, a flap will pop off, revealing a chest that has the Attack FX B badge inside. When the badge is returned to her, she reveals that she hid it to test Mario and if she finds the other badges, she wants to stay with him and they join the party. She eventually returns to running her own shop. Also, she is sometimes seen wearing a black bandana instead of a red one. Whenever she goes out, she calls herself "Badge-Ninja".

Super Paper Mario[]

Ms. Mowz's Catch Card can be won in the Duel of 100 at Sammer's Kingdom. She can also be seen in a photo of Paper Mario's house during the game's prologue.

Trivia[]

  • In the original version of The Thousand-Year Door, Ms. Mowz would be referred to as a floozy by Goombella at some points in the game. However, the remake changes the dialogue to omit the word floozy from being mentioned and is just implied.
