Mufasa

King Mufasa was the father of Simba, husband of Sarabi, brother of Scar and formerly the king of the pride lands until his death. He is the one of the heroes in the 1994 Disney film, The Lion King. He guided Simba with the path to become king and showing the ways of the circle of life. Scar and the hyenas started a stampede of wildebeest in a gorge where Simba was, and Mufasa charges in to rescue him. He manages to rescue his son and tries to climb out of the gorge but Scar grabs him and throws him back in where he is trampled and killed. Scar convinced Simba that he was responsible for his father's death and Simba ran away to start a new life. Mufasa's ghost appears before him years later to tell that he must go back and become king again. Simba agrees and does so.
TriviaEdit
- Mufasa's reprimand of "You deliberately disobeyed me" when he scolds Simba has been used in The Jungle Book 2, The Little Mermaid 2, and Racing Stripes.
- His guidance to Simba makes him a wise ruler.
