~ Murakumo |
Murakumo (叢雲 ”Massed Clouds”?) was a Fubuki class was the fifth of twenty-four Fubuki-class destroyers, built for the Imperial Japanese Navy following World War I. When introduced into service, these ships were the most powerful destroyers in the world. They served as first-line destroyers through the 1930s, and remained formidable weapons systems well into the Pacific War.
Appearance[]
She wears a short one-piece sailor dress unlike the rest of the Fubuki-class (but just like Hatsuharu and Nenohi). She has long white hair and wields her mast as a polearm.
She is the second starter with a second remodel, after Fubuki. She ditches the sailor dress for a somewhat more elaborate low-cut dress with a tight shirt, revealing her slim (if not underweight) body. She now wears heels instead of the loafers. Her signature red tie is tied directly around her neck. Her rigging has been upgraded to be sturdier-looking. However, her floating headgear hasn't changed design (only the tips, which were white, are now painted dark grey). Her gear now glows blue. Her mast spear is absent in her in-game portrait but other official art reveals that, while the design has otherwise barely changed (only the handle has moved to the middle of the shaft), it now features an actual spearhead.
She has a special portrait for Valentine's day for the unremodelled version. She wears a pink scarf and glove featuring a pink furry trim. The glowing parts of her gear now glow pink as well. She is presenting a box of chocolates at the Admiral.
Personality[]
She is a Boisterous Bruiser that is quite cold towards the Admiral but is implied to be Tsundere for him/her.
