Musashi is one of the supporting characters of Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin, Ginga Densetsu Weed, and Ginga: The Last Wars.
He was voiced by late Kazuhiko Kishino from Ginga Nagareboshi Gin and Shigenori Sōya from Ginga Densetsu Weed in the Japanese version.

Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin[]
He was once a champion fighting dog, but after he joined Ben's group, he led Gin to Benizakura.
Ginga Densetsu Weed[]
After Akakabuto's death, Musashi returned to his owner and to Shikoku's arena. His age finally began to weigh Musash and he decided to end his successful career by giving up his position to Tōbele.
Musashi later arrives with Moss to help Ōu warriors fight Hōgen. He again meets Tōbē, who has been rescued by Ōu's pack. Musashi is very disappointed that Tōbē has fallen on bad roads and has joined Hōgen. However, Tōbē joins the warriors of Ōu after Musashi's speech and receives genuine mediation.
After Hōgen dies, Musashi stays in Ōu. He is one of the dogs that Sasuke fetches for a fight against Shōgun, but the fight ends soon after they arrive.
Musashi also takes part in the fight against Russian war dogs under Gin's leadership. He remains in support of running exhausted Moss as Bozlev's troops catch him. Later, Ōun's warriors are captured in a ravine and Musashi loses his left eye in a battle against Bozlev's troops. Nevertheless, he defeats Sergeant Nicholas with a single stroke. He also helped Jaguar kill Bozlev by pushing Bozlev in front of the Jaguar.
After the battle, Daisuke and Hidetoshi take Musashi, Jaguar and Taba to take care of them. When the Russians are defeated, Daisuke and Hidetoshi drive to Ōu and release the dogs back to their
Ginga: The Last Wars[]
Akakabuto's descendants attack, Musashi meets Gin and others on the rock with Kurokamaki and Jaguar.
Bears are preparing to attack dogs. Gin decides to act as a live bait and attacks Monsoon on Zetsu Tenrō Battōga but the bear stops the attack and throws Gin to the ground. Ōu warriors are furiously attacking Monsoon, disregarding Gin's orders, and a huge bear shakes part of the doggie in an instant. Musashi survives without injury but is shocked by Jaguar's death.
Later, Monsoon returns to the rock and claims to have beaten Gin, who was the bait. Monsoon wounds Kurotora, where Jerome attacks the bear but gets under his feet. Musashi tries to help Jerome, but Monsoon swings his paw and dips his nails into Musash. The bear's huge claws fatally pierce Musash's body at several points, after which the bear drops the dog to the ground.
Musashi and many other warriors of Ōu are taken to a prison of stone blocks, where Kurotora states that he died from his wounds.
