Serial Designation N, better known as simply N, is the deuteragonist of the horror comedy web series Murder Drones. He is a Disassembly Drone, who was sent to kill all the Worker Drones with the help of V and J, but after meeting Uzi Doorman, he started to question his actions, and eventually betrayed his team and became an ally of Uzi and the other Worker Drones.
He is voiced by Michael Kovach, who also voiced Angel Dust in the Hazbin Hotel pilot and Rocky Rickaby in Lackadaisy. He was also voiced by William Viana for the Brazilian dub, Max Mann in the Russian dub, Diego Becerril in the Latin American dub, Doğukan Akdeniz in the Turkish dub, and by Ihor Korzhenko in the Ukrainian dub.

Personality[]
Despite being a Disassembly Drone, N is cheerful, friendly, and kind, and will never show hostility towards anyone even to those who hurt or mock him. N is also a bit dimwitted and is usually treated as worthless in the eyes of the other Disassembly Drones, especially J. However, N is also capable of intelligence and is able to trick others.
After meeting Uzi, N would start to question the point of his actions, to the point where he defected his team and started working with Uzi and protect the other Worker Drones. N also grows to become protective of Uzi, such as saving her life from the Absolute Solver. N tried to distance himself from the other Worker Drones because he believed that the Disassembly Drones were too dangerous, but after Uzi decided to help him stop Doll, N was happy about working with her again.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
Before the show's events, N used to be a Worker Drone on Earth, who served a human family called the Elliots. It's heavily implied he was taken in by the Elliots daughter Tessa. N, like the other Worker Drones, was abused by his human owners, with Tessa being the only one who cared about him.
At some point, he got turned into a Disassembly Drone, and was sent with his coworkers J and V to Copper 9 with the goal of killing all the Worker Drones that were in it, as humans didn't want the machines they created to rebel against their creators.
Murder Drones[]
N is first seen when Uzi went out of her colony to kill the Disassembly Drones and stop them from killing any more Worker Drones, where he fights Uzi, but she manages to shoot his head off, but he is able to regenerate it, although he lost his memories of Uzi and believed that she was a new member of their group.
N would then show Uzi their ship, and would tell them about V and J, and while he describes them as great, it's shown that they don't even care about him, with J even abusing him because of how much he hates him.
Uzi would then suggest that they should work with the Worker Drones to fix their ship instead of murdering them, as she believed that their company would get rid of the Disassembly Drones after the Worker Drones were wiped out.
However, V and J would appear right after this, and would reboot N's system, which lead to N remembering Uzi, so he goes after her since he knew she would be a threat to the Disassembly Drones due to her weapon.
N is then able to open the doors of Uzi's colony and kills several of the Worker Drones, and then disarmed Uzi and threw her to a wall. Uzi would then ask her father Khan to save her, but he instead locked the door to the rest of the colony and left Uzi to die.
N would feel pity for her and decided to protect her from V and J by throwing her away to a place where they wouldn't be able to see her and assume that he was just getting rid of Uzi's body. Because of him opening the doors to the colony, J and V would congratulate N.
After V left, N asked J if their company would dispose of them after they killed all the Worker Drones. J then saw this as him questioning the orders of their creators, so she saw it as an excuse to finally get rid of N, so she implanted him with a virus.
Uzi would then decide to save N so he would help her save the other Worker Drones, and they are able to defeat J and V, with N bringing V back to their ship, while Uzi was able to kill V. Uzi then confronted her father for leaving her before deciding to leave the colony, saying that she's "banishing" herself.
Later, N stays in a cave due to the sunlight being able to kill him and hoped she was having important character growth, with Uzi telling him that she couldn't wait to murder all humans. In the next episode, N would wake up after having a dream of his past as a Worker Drone, and would go to his ship after Uzi called him.
N would then find out he was the one who piloted the ship to Copper-9, and would then question Uzi about if her idea to murder all humans was a moral choice, but Uzi tells him that humans were beyond reasoning as they covered their tracks.
V would then start to taunt Uzi, with N then stop the latter from hitting V with a wrench. Later, Thad would give them Uzi's railgun, and after Thad told them that J's corpse crawled by itself and disappeared, they would go to the colony.
The Worker Drone guarding the entrance of the colony was questioning why he should let N in, so N gives him a crude drawing where he says sorry for his actions, with the guard forgiving him and telling him to just not do it again. Uzi, N, and Thad would then go to investigate the recent murders in the colony, where they find a wall that had information about a program named Absolute Solver, which was later revealed to be possessing J's corpse.
The Absolute Solver would try to capture Thad, but N was able to briefly save him, although they captured Thad again, so he and Uzi go after it. N was then able to rescue Thad while N and Uzi stayed and fought against the Absolute Solver. After defeating it, N would try to comfort Uzi, but she, due to being shocked over what the Absolute Solver showed her, asked what were they.
After noticing that there were others coming, N asked Uzi to come with him, but she refused, so N left after noticing that it was Uzi's father, since he knew she would be alright. N would then go back to the ship, where V mocks him, but instead of leaving or attacking N after noticing she was free, V decided to stay and keep company with N, even if she was feigning annoyance.
N would talk with V during the prom night that they were too dangerous for the other Worker Drones, so they can't interact with them. V would try to convince N to free her, lying that she would only do things for the good of him and her. V would then cut off his head, and tells N that she will do what is for his own good, even if he hates her for it.
After regenerating his head, N would try to go to the prom to stop V, and found Uzin on his way there. The two then allied with each other to stop V and Doll, and when they came to the prom, they were surprised that V wasn't killing anyone, and that Doll was the one who was killing Worker Drones and used the prom to have a chance at revenge against V for murdering her parents. Uzi and N, however, would protect V, telling Doll that humans were trying to force them to kill each other, and that she won't deal with what is happening to her alone, which makes N start smiling.
Uzi and N then fight against Doll, and when Doll was about to kill Uzi, V saved her life by shooting Doll in the head. Uzi, N, and V would then investigate Doll's room, where they find the bodies of many Worker Drones, Doll's parents included, and when searching the body of Doll's mother, Doll appeared and tried to kill them. However, after noticing that Uzi was infected by the Absolute Solver, Doll felt sorry for her before leaving.
Sometime later, N and V would be brought to Camp 98.7 to take care of the students of Uzi's class during their time there. While counting the students, V killed one of the drones, leading to N to criticize her for it. While he was initially reluctant, he allowed Uzi to search the camp while he and V took care of the other students.
While using canoes, a student tried to flirt with N, and V would sabotage the canoe, with N saving said student from falling to the water. Later, he tries doing archery, but when he hits the target with every single one of his arrows, he questions if he is cheating. Uzi would then try to communicate with N from afar, but he mistakenly talks in loud voice with Uzi.
After the students noticed Uzi, one of them accidentally threw an arrow at her, leading to Uzi using the Absolute Solver in order to stop the arrow, causing the arrow to be turned into an abomination. V would then try to go after Uzi to kill her, but N stopped her and went to find Uzi. While searching for her, N would go to a cabin and find a cassette called "Zombie Drones", leading him to start remembering past events.
After Uzi went insane and was about to kill V, N stopped her and threw her into the sky, where he would comfort her and calm her down. While leaving the camp, N noticed that Uzi was getting her hand hurt by sunlight, leading him to move her hand away from it. Sometimes after this, N and V passed out because of an unknown other program (likely Cyn) was trying to delete their memories of the past.
In N's memories, it's revealed what the Disassembly Drones were like when they were just regular Worker Drones. N is first seen reading a book about dogs in the library of the Elliot Mansion. He then goes to the kitchen where he meets with Cyn, who the latter asks if she would like to go to the gala with her, but N refused, telling her that their owners forbade them from going to it.
However, after being convinced by Cyn, who used literal puppy eyes to do it, N and Cyn go to see Tessa. After meeting with Tessa, she hugs him, but after Tessa saw Cyn, she questioned why she was there, and when N asked if they were locking her up, Tessa tried to explain it to him before her mother appeared. Tessa's mother then told her that she was going to throw her Worker Drones away the next day after seeing her unable to keep Cyn in the library.
After Cyn told Tessa's mother that they weren't broken and that she couldn't throw them out anymore, N protected Cyn from Tessa's mother's anger, saying that he told Cyn to say that and brought her to the gala. However, he was then tied up to a tree where he was attacked by crows, and while she wasn't initially bothered by them, after he failed to throw a stick to them, they started attacking him more severely.
However, he was saved by Uzi in the form of a crow, who hacked into N's memories to stop him and V from having their memories deactivated. They then go to the mansion, where they find a deactivated V, whom he moves to get the key to get to the basement, but he then finds out that V was now possessed by Cyn.
He then goes to Tessa and J, whom asked them for the basement key. Uzi then gets the key from J, and J and Tessa stayed to fight a possessed V while N and Uzi went to the basement. After getting to the basement, Cyn kills Uzi's crow form before the latter hacked Cyn and took over her Solver body. When they got to the basement, they found that Cyn was experimenting on the bodies of Worker Drones.
After Uzi gets off her computer to fight Doll, Cyn retakes her body and traps N in a chair, and planned to reset his memories. However, she was unable to use her tools due to her Solver claws making it difficult to grab something as small as a scalpel. Because of this, Cyn brought a possessed V to do the reset for her, but after N was able to bring her back to normal, Cyn grabs V and tries to kill him with her tool.
However, she is hacked by Uzi again after she finished her fight with Doll. After being freed, N helped in getting V to get up, and the memory finished after N and V remembered who Uzi was. They then find Doll with Tessa and J.

- According to N's concept art, he likes dogs. This was proven to be true as it revealed in a flashback where he enjoyed reading a book about dogs.
- In the promo video for the Glitch Inn, N can project his mouth onto his eye display screen to continue talking. Whether he can actually do this in canon is unknown.
