Nabbit is a supporting character in the Super Mario franchise. He is a nimble, rabbit-like thief who acts as both an adversary and an ally to Mario and Luigi.
He is voiced by Natsuko Yokoyama and later Dawn M. Bennett.
Nabbit is a small creature that resembles a rabbit, characterized by two large round eyes, black limbs, and a purple body. He also has a pair of long floppy ears, a tail, and wears white gloves with orange shoes. Nabbit always carries a bag with a Super Mushroom printed on it that contains all the items he stole. Coving his mouth is a handkerchief that is tied around his neck and features a monstrous mouth drawn on it, similar to the one on Bowser Jr.'s bib.

New Super Mario Bros. U[]
Nabbit is apparently doing research on Mario from his Secret Island and steals from several Toads Houses throughout the game. After the first robbery, Toad asks Mario to help him catch the thief who has fled into a level. The player only has 100 seconds to catch Nabbit, and if they catch him, Toad rewards Mario with a P-acorn. Mario can eventually go to Nabbit's Secret Island using a Pipe to view the game files totals and status.
New Super Luigi U[]
Aside from serving the same role as in New Super Mario Bros. U, Nabbit is also a playable character in both single and co-op modes. Unlike Luigi, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad, he cannot use tools, but enemies cannot damage him and all the power-ups he collects will convert into lives. During single player mode, Nabbit can be chosen by pressing ZL while selecting the level (except the levels where he is caught and the final level, in which case he will become a Mii).

Nabbit appears as an amiibo costume.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[]
Nabbit fulfils the same roles as he did in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder[]
Nabbit returns with a similar role to the New Super Mario Bros. U games. He can be seen at the beginning of the game hiding behind a bush as the other characters go to meet Prince Florian and will appear with the Yoshis to help foil Bowser's plans. If chosen by the player, any power-ups Nabbit collects will be converted into Flower Coins.
