“ | You are my commander? I'm Nachi. I appreciate your contribution. | „ |
Nachi (那智?) was the second vessel completed of the four-member Myōkō class of heavy cruisers of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which were active in World War II. The other ships of the class were Myōkō, Ashigara, and Haguro. She was named after a mountain in Wakayama Prefecture.
She was voiced by Risa Taneda in the Japanese version, and by Michelle Lee in the English version.
Appearance[]
The Myoukou-class wears a purple uniform with a black tight skirt, white pantyhose and white elbow gloves.
Nachi herself has long black hair in a side ponytail as well as brown eyes.
Her second remodel gives her a new modified uniform shared with her fellow sister ships's second remodel. Her main difference is her longer boots.
Personality[]
The serious fighter of her class. Also a doting sister to Ashigara, who in turn dotes upon Haguro.
Trivia[]
- Sunk, 5 November 1944.
- Received her Kai Ni on 23/01/2015.
- Her name makes for an easy (and unfortunate) pun with the word "nazi", especially considering the Japanese pronounciation of "nazi" (ナチ, nachi). Hence, the art featuring her wearing a german military uniform.
