Nagase Ichijō (一条ながせ, Ichijō Nagase?), also known as Princess Meteor (プリンセス・ミーティア, Purinsesu Mītia?), is one of three main protagonists of Princession Orchestra.
She is voiced by Azusa Tachibana.
Biography[]
While Minamo and Natsu are on their way to go back home, Nagase was seen talking with her two friends at the stairs.
While she was sitting in Class 1-B, Nagase encounters with her upperclassmen Minamo and her friend Natsu for the first time, but she impulsively deduced that they're her sophomores despite they tried to introduce themselves and admitted that she became like this ever since she watched the TV show about detective. However, she heard the bell rings and awkwardly waving them goodbye once Minamo and Natsu were in hurry to get back to their classroom. Once the class ends, Nagase became impressed of having Minamo as her biggest fan and gives her an autograph before she dashes away, leaving it mispelled "shooting" as "shutting".
The next morning in Alicepia, Nagase is preparing for her concert to get started, but she becomes startled and freaked out when another biggest fan of her named Aiko Nezu starts admitting how much she always admired her most of the time and promised to give her the best seat in the house. After Aiko just left, Nagase is encountered by Drun who summoned Jamaock to absorb her Musessence, leaving her in a blank state. When Minamo and Kagari arrived in Alicepia and transformed into Princesses, Nagase witnessed them fighting against Jamaock and becomes wondering if this is what real sparkling looks like. After the Jamaock are defeated and Drun retreats away, Nagase regains her conciousness and discovering that the Jamaock were finally gone. Seeing Kagari for the first time, she immediately became hyped of meeting her for the first time and admiring her for her skills and having famous parents before dashing away. Back in her room, Nagase is seen lying in her bed while muttering about Princesses.
The next morning, Nagase is still thinking about the Princesses and admiring about how stunning they are. Ever since that incident, she became much depressed than ever before and stops uploading her videos on Alicepia channel, which led to Minamo and Kagari worried of her. After school, Nagase is encountered by Minamo and Kagari who meets up with her. She told both of her upperclasswomen about her incident with the Jamaocks and admits herself of being a fraud whenever it comes with "sparkle" unlike the two Princesses she ever saw from before.
Later in Alicepia, a depressed Nagase is seen walking on the street before she is encountered by Aiko again until they're encountered by Drun who summoned the Jamaocks to absorb Aiko's Musessence. When both Minamo and Kagari arrived and transformed into Princesses to fight against the Jamaocks and later Drun, the song fragment suddenly appears in Nagase's body, which is noticed by Ripple, Zeal and Naviyu who encouraged her to become a Princess and fight by their side. Although initially reluctant of doing so, Nagase felt encouraged enough to become one and later transformed into a new Princess, called Princess Meteor. She was able to hold against Drun and gains the upperhand on him, but only to get captured by an upgraded pawn-type Jamaock and almost gotten electrocuted to death. However, she managed to release from the monster's grip and unleashed Meteor Asteroid Shower on her enemies, but only for the Jamaock to get annihilated while Drun managed to survived by teleporting away. After Aiko's Musessence is restored, Meteor hides herself behind a building before turns herself back to normal. However, she became surprised that her upperclasswoman were actually Princesses and became happy that she was offered to work together as partners. She finally appears in her concer where she sings "Jinsei wa Nagareboshi Da ☆彡".
When Jamaocks are terrorizing Alicepia, the trio transformed into Princesses to fought them all. Meteor attempt to unleash her special attack Meteor Asteroid Shower but to no avail as she doesn't have enough Musessence to power up. After defeating the Jamaocks, Nagase offers her comrades to come for a hangout to celebrate their victory.
Back to the real world, Nagase taking both of her comrades out to karaoke booth as a part of their hangout. After Nagase finished singing, their drinks were ordered with Nagase chose orange ginger boba lemonade and managed to convinced Kagari to try it out. As Minamo reveals that her mother works at school where she teaches kids how to make sweets, Nagase tells her that she should upload a bunch of cooking videos on Alicepia channel. After the trio exits the karaoke, Nagase and Kagari became impressed with Minamo's singing skills, much to her embarassment. She later reveals that she had everything planned for their date, much to Minamo's shock. After spending on their date eating desserts, shopping, and visiting aquarium, the trio are pretty much having fun and enjoying it until they're contacted by Naviyu that the Jamaocks are appearing on Alicepia again. After the trio arrived on Alicepia and transformed into Princesses, Nagase felt confident of beating up Gita when they first met and later giving him an insult payback after he started to mocked her. While they're fighting against the group of Jamaocks, Gita proceed to summon a Bishop-type Jamaock. Meteor then decide to use the song fragment to power herself up, which she received six glowing sticks that she used to incapacitate the Bishop before unleashing Meteor Asteroid Shower on it. After they transformed back to normal, Nagase exclaims to both Minamo and Kagari that she had so much fun spending time together with them.
After Meteor and her fellow Princesses are fighting against the group of Jamaocks sent by Gita and defeated them all one by one, they all went back home to celebrate. The next morning after school, Nagase invited both Minamo and Kagari to her home for their hangout. She was given a bag of snowball cookies from Minamo and later finds it delicious when she tried one. As the girls were hanging out with each other, the three friends were talking about their parents and both Nagase and Kagari are very surprised to discover that Minamo is indeed the daughter of the news anchorman Seishiro Sorano, as they're admitted that they're big fans of him. However, they were contacted by Naviyu that the Jamaocks have appeared again and went to Alicepia to solve the matters. After transforming into Princesses, the trio went to fight and defeated the rest of Jamaocks until they're confronted by Bass who summoned a Rook-type Jamaock, which is proven to be powerful than three previous types of Jamaocks. Meteor then proceed to unleash Meteor Asteroid Shower against the Rook, with both Zeal and Ripple backing her up to finish the job. Though exhausted from their fight, the trio are willing to be ready to face the villainous group Band Snatch.
In Alicepia, Nagase and her friends were invited by Naviyu where they're given a tour to his house as it became their base of operations for the trio as they became Princesses. Since the Princesses can be powered with Musessence, Nagase thought of an idea of forming a trio group where they will sing together in order to empower their Musessence so they would be able to stand up against their enemies, which the others agreed and liked the idea. Throughout seven days, Meteor and her friends are practicing their fighting and dancing skills. After they finished training, she and Zeal told Ripple to take a rest and not to get herself worked up when they saw her getting tired after all their training. Later, Meteor and Zeal were seen fighting against the adult Rook-type Jamaock and is struggled to destroy the barrier since it was stronger than the last time until Minamo arrived and transformed into Ripple. Working together, the trio of Princesses sing together to overwhelm the adult Rook-type Jamaock, which created a new song fragment that was divided into three magic wands and they later used it to destroy the Jamaock and return back Mirai's Musessence. They later saw Mirai regained her conciousness and exclaimed her idolization towards the Princesses.
During Minamo's filming session, both Nagase and Kagari enters the studio and discovered that it doesn't go so well. When Natsu noticed how Minamo gotten close with them, Nagase comes up with an excuse by claiming that they've been close ever since Minamo is her biggest fan. At the outside, Nagase agreed to accompany Minamo to meet Kaede Sato in "Sweets Showtime" and said that she has been tried to learn English. While on their way to the event, Nagase and her friends eventually discovers there are Jamaocks around the building and they cannot transform into Princesses unless Natsu is away from them, which Naviyu lead her away for safety. After they transformed into Princess, the trio went to defeat the group of Jamaocks until Gita shows up and revealed that he just stole Kaede's Musessence away and ate all of her cupcakes. But when an enraged Gita to retaliate by ordering the adult Bishop-type Jamaock to attack them in return, the trio managed to destroy it with their combined beams. However, singing as a trio takes a toll on them and it drains them from their power.
Following Natsu's street performance in Alicepia while singing Kagayaiteku Kimi no Tame, Nagase and her friends commends her for her performance. After hearing from Naviyu that Natsu has become trending in Alicepia, they later met girl named Mikan Himura who was trying to create a dance style that is combined with martial arts and music. Inspired by this, Nagase and Kagari decide to make Minamo a main star of her videos. In Naviyu's house, they tried to come up with an idea of helping Minamo with her videos, like creating a story that is based on Cinderella, making a cosplay like a final boss from an RPG and tried singing and dancing like Kaede Sato, which none of them seems to be approved by her. When Minamo asked her friends for the advice to deal with her nervousness, Nagase said that she just huffed both of her cats just for relaxation, which Minamo decide to follow her advice by tried out huffing Naviyu as a stress relief which made her relaxed.
However, the trio later discovered that the group of Jamaocks appeared in the park where they stole Mikan's Musessence and later transformed into Princesses to fought against them. They were later attacked by an adult Pawn-type Jamaock who is influenced by Mikan's Musessence, which Ripple was later taken down after she failed to attack the Jamaock with her power-up from Natsu's song fragment and Meteor had to get her back up. Despite this, Zeal managed to finish off the Jamaock with Kaede Sato's song fragment and later Zeal Rising Volcano, thus returning back Mikan's Musessence.
