Nanase Kudo is a supporting character in the light novel and anime series Kaze no Stigma. She is one of Ayano Kannagi's best friends at school and one of the two who knows about her magical abilities, the other being Yukari Shinomiya, whom she is almost always seen with. Although a rather minor character, she plays a fairly significant role late in the anime, along with Yukari.
She is voiced by Shizuka Itō in the Japanese version of the anime and Brina Palencia in the English version.
Appearance[]
Nanase is the tallest of the three girls, with purple hair and dark blue eyes. She tends to wear her school uniform, though she is seen wearing other clothes as well. She has a very large bust size for her age. While she was under Kosuke's control, she was dressed in a single-piece leather outfit.
Personality[]
While it's not known exactly how long the three girls have known each other, it's clear that they are very close. Yukari and Nanase are the only people at Ayano's school who know about her powers; in the anime, they know from the beginning but in the novels, they don't know until the second volume. Nanase is considered a tomboy, even more so than Ayano, due to being very athletic and a member of several sports clubs, as well as having short hair. She is admired by many of the female students.
While she puts on an aloof facade in public and is not as well-connected as Yukari, Nanase appears to be just as caring and carries much sway with the students. She frequently joins in with Yukari's teasing of Ayano, something that really annoys Ayano as she always thought Nanase was above such things.
