Natalia Korda is the deuteragonist of the 2015 horror and action game, Resident Evil Revelations 2. She was a mysterious little girl discovered by Barry Burton on the island on which Alex Wesker had her base of operations, with Natalya being the prized project of the twisted woman's goal. She, along with Barry, Moira and Claire would ultimately defeat Alex and escape the island, after which she was adopted by Barry.
Biography[]
Natalia was born in 2001, she lived peacefully with her family (place unknown). When she was 3 years old, Natalia moved with her family to Terragrigia when Veltro placed an attack on it and spread the T-virus. Natalia's parents got killed due the attack. Natalia survived and got saved by Neil Fisher, a member of Terrasave. She had a hope that her parents were still alive but as soon as she witnessed the Regia SOLIS satellite Destroys Terragrgia ultimately, she got extremely shocked and depressed from what she saw. But Neil was always there for her and treated her like he was her father and bought her a teddy which she named it Lottie. Later, Natalia underwent some investigations and questions from cops researchers to gather more information about anything that happenned to the city, but the orphan freaked them out and amazed them when she told them that the ultraviolet ray that came from the satellite was bright and beautiful-looking. As soon as the researchers heard that from her, they brought her the phsychoanalysts. After some talking with her, the phsychoanalysts said that she's just a ten year old girl, doesn't know a lot about life.
Neil knew about what Natalia said and made a report that he sees an unusual thing about her: she posses a natural immunity to fear, this info about Natalia impressed him, and raised and took care of her through Terrasave. She was somewhat introverted as she did not to anyone except for a little bit, and she held her Lotte teddy very often as Neil tried to take the teddy from her to talk with and to see the world in a wider way, but she refused as she claimed that she talks to her teddy more than anybody else. Despite Neil treated Natalia very kindly and took care of her like she was her daughter, it was all under the orders of Terrasave. In 2011, The corrupt organization ordered Neil to gather any human that possesses ''the natural immunity to fear'' similar to Natalia. Neil had a deal with a woman called Alex Wesker, the secret evil leader of Terrsasave. The deal is that she wants to gather people that have immunity to fear abilty as much as possible from Neil to run secret and specialized expirements on them, Conversely, alex will give him a sample of UROBOROS virus. That's why Neil became very connected to Natalia at the beginning and protected her all that time.
In 2011, Fisher engaged in discussions with Dr. Alex Wesker, a former Umbrella virologist exploring reincarnation through advanced technology using a virus to grant superhuman abilities. Due to her emotional detachment, Fisher and ten TerraSave members, including himself, were chosen for a project. They were lured to a party where they were captured by Wesker’s paramilitary group. Korda woke up on Sein, an island in the Baltic Sea, where the population had been used as test subjects. The TerraSave members were hunted by the island’s citizens due to their violent tendencies.
Claire Redfield and Moira Burton rescued Korda, who was being monitored by Wesker and Fisher. Korda was identified as the most promising candidate for superhuman abilities. To further the research, Fisher kidnapped Korda while Redfield and Burton were distracted. Korda was taken to Wesker’s base, where her memories were transferred, and she was placed in a coma for protection. As preparations to destroy the Monument began, Korda was kept in a bunker. Six months later, Korda woke up with heightened senses, able to detect mutants nearby. She encountered “Dark Natalia,” a persona created by Wesker. Dark Natalia manipulated Korda but failed to take control. Barry Burton found Korda and together they navigated the island, unlocking memories and facing Wesker’s mutated form. As they confronted Wesker, Korda resisted Dark Natalia’s influence, causing a conflict within Wesker. The encounter led to Wesker’s mutation and pursuit of Korda, who was saved by Moira. Redfield and a BSAA force arrived, resulting in Wesker’s demise.
In the following years, Korda was adopted by the Burton family in Canada. Dark Natalia’s attempts to take over continued, with Korda showing an interest in Franz Kafka’s works, reflecting Wesker’s influence.
