Natalia Vidal is a major character of the Disney Channel Latin-American series Violetta, serving as the (former) secondary antagonist turned major protagonist of the first season and one of the tritagonists of the second and third seasons.
She is Ludmila's former sidekick. However, she is more Ludmila's servant than her friend. She knows that Ludmila would betray her if there was something in it for her, but she stays with her anyway, hoping that it would help her become a diva as well.
She is portrayed by Alba Rico.
Personality[]
Naty is a nice girl but she keeps her true personality hidden in order to please Ludmila. She is fashionable and looks down on the other girls. Deep down, she is a very insecure girl who believes that the only way to success is to be part of the cool crowd.
Naty is a good singer and dancer, but Ludmila doesn't let her shine as much as she could. Later in the series, she realizes what a horrible person Ludmila is and starts to slowly distance herself from her. She is also shown to be more sarcastic, speaks her mind more often and doesn't take the blame for Ludmila's mistakes anymore. She also starts to develop a crush on Maxi, and with the help of her sister Lena, Nati stops being Ludmila's sidekick. But when Lena leaves the studio, Naty goes back to Ludmila.
History[]
Season 1[]
Naty initially acts like a bad person, being part of the cool crowd alongside Ludmila, Leon and Andres. However, this is just a facade to hide an insecure and defenseless Naty who is just misguided by her loyalty to Ludmila that she is afraid to stand up for herself, believing that she is going to end up alone and that she would be nothing without Ludmila. However, this slowly starts to change with the arrival of Lena, Naty's younger sister, who is able to defend her from Ludmila whenever she is bothering her and when she starts developing feelings for Maxi, with whom she eventually starts a relationship, after few misunderstandings caused by the jealous Ludmila. Because of this, Naty along with Andres switch sides and joins the clique of Violetta's friends.

Trivia[]
- Naty acts as a foil to Andrés as both of them are outcasts inside a popular clique of students and also the best friends of a student who is tecnically the popular arrogant (Ludmila for Naty, Leon for Andres) and feel that they are nothing without them, given that they were simply misguided by emotions and their blind loyalty. The only difference being that Leon always treats Andres as a friend while Ludmila treats Naty as more of a servant. In addition, Andres had feelings for Naty and implied it to her, but she did not share those feelings and ended up with Maxi instead.
