Naviyu (ナビーユ, Nabīyu?) is a main deuteragonist of Princession Orchestra. He is an Alicepian who serves as a guide and sidekick to the Princesses.
He is voiced by Hiro Shimono, who also voiced Rex in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Nacht Faust in Black Clover, Scott Pilgrim in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Ryunosuke Naruhodo in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and an adult Kozuki Momonosuke in One Piece.
Biography[]
He is an Alicepian who lived in Alicepia before the arrival of future three Princesss. At some point during Jamaock attack on Alicepia, he first met Kagari Shirube who became a Princess before Minamo and Nagase, and eventually became her guide.
When Jamaocks are attacking Natsu and drained her Musessence, Naviyu and Princess Zeal were about to arrive at the scene until they witnessed Minamo gained her own song fragment and transformed into Princess Ripple. But he becomes shocked at Ripple's curiosity of what has happened or who's "Princess Ripple" and her difficulties in fighting against Jamaock which forced Zeal to deal with such matters and take them all down. After Zeal transforms back into normal, Naviyu proceed to introduce himself to Minamo and tells her to keep her identity as a Princess a secret for the sake of her family and friends' safety.
The next morning, Naviyu cheer up Kagari over the loss of her last concert until they discovered a Jamaock went after both Minamo and Natsu. After they arrived at the scene, Naviyu discovered that Natsu has her Musessence taken away and explained to Minamo about what is Musessence, which she finally understands how Zeal fights and decide to transform into Princess Ripple again to fight against Jamaock. After the Jamaock is finally defeated and Natsu regained her conciousness, He and Kagari explained to Minamo about what the song fragment means. Both him and Kagari watched as both friends are hanging out.
The next day, Naviyu called upon both Minamo and Kagari to Alicepia that there's a Jamaock attack and lead the evacuation for the others' safety. When Gita summoned a Knight-type Jamaock, he became shocked over seeing it for the first time and shows concerns when Ripple and Zeal are struggled in fighting against them. After the Knight-type is finally defeated, he demanded both Minamo and Kagari to be friendly with him.
The next morning, Naviyu contacted both Minamo and Kagari that the Jamaock has appeared in Alicepia. After the Jamaock are defeated, Drun later confronted both Princess and Naviyu warned them to be careful as he sense something's off about him. After Drun retreats away, Naviyu becomes very distressed that he wasn't noticed by Nagase.
The next day, Naviyu becomes worried about Nagase before discovering that the Jamaocks are showing up again. After Minamo and Kagari transformed into Princesses and defeated the Jamaocks, Naviyu becomes horrified of seeing them getting beaten up and outmatched by Drun and later encouraged Nagase into becoming a Princess and fight by their side after witnessing a song fragment appears inside of her. After Nagase transformed into Princess Meteor, they later witnessed her fighting against Drun and a Jamaock.
When the trio of Princesses are fighting against the Jamaocks, Naviyu reprimands Meteor for recklessly attempt to unleash her special attack Meteor Asteroid Shower when she doesn't have enough Musessence to power up. After the Jamaocks are defeated, Naviyu congratulates the trio for their victory and attempt to come with them to celebrate, but cannot enter the real world due to being an Alicepian. When Gita summoned the Jamaocks to terrorize Alicepia, Naviyu went out to protect the little girl from having her Musessence taken away until he was thrown away and getting caught by Ripple as the trio arrives. He was later seen witnessing the Princesses fought against the Jamaock until Meteor finished off the Bishop.
Despite not being allowed to leave Alicepia, he is still forced to watch the trio having a hangout in Nagase's home and isn't very happy that he wasn't given treats from Minamo until she assured him that he'll get one. While the trio are talking about their parents, Naviyu asked Minamo about what does her father works which she later revealed her father's name in front of Kagari and Nagase, much to their shock. Noticed the Jamaock's presence, he informed the trio about what happened and forcing everyone to evacuate. After the trio of Princesses managed to destroy the Rook-type Jamaock, Naviyu congratulates them on their success but still very wary whenever facing the villainous group Band Snatch.
Naviyu invited the trio to his house and gave them a tour as it will become their base of operations as they became Princesses. Knowing the Band Snatch are growing stronger than ever before, he felt guilty of causing the trio's lives to be changed in the first place until they assured him it has nothing to do. Since the Princesses can be powered with Musessence, Nagase thought of an idea of forming a trio group where they will sing together in order to empower their Musessence so they would be able to stand up against their enemies, which Naviyu liked the idea and rent them a studio to prepare for their training. Throughout seven days, Naviyu had been helping the trio of Princesses with their training and later told Ripple to take a rest once they finished their training. Later, Naviyu discovered that Drun had already taken Mirai's Musessence through an adult Rook-type Jamaock and contacted both Kagari and Nagase about what happened which they later arrived and transform into Princesses. Once Minamo arrived and transform into Ripple, the trio of Princesses later worked together to overwhelm the adult Rook-type Jamaock by singing together, which created a new song fragment that was divided into three magic wands and they later used it to destroy the Jamaock and return back Mirai's Musessence.
During Minamo's filming session, Naviyu tagging along with both Nagase and Kagari where they enters the studio together and discovered that it doesn't go so well. After Grimm and the Alicepians are wrapping up the filming session, Naviyu began to explain how videos on Alicepia channel works. At the outside, Naviyu agreed to accompany Minamo to meet Kaede Sato in "Sweets Showtime". While on their way to the event, Naviyu eventually discovers there are Jamaocks around the building and have to lead Natsu away for a safety in order to allow the trio to transform into Princesses without being seen. After the trio of Princesses managed to defeat an adult Bishop-type Jamaock in no time, Naviyu only noticed them turning back to normal because he believed that singing as a trio took a toll on them and their power.
Following Natsu's street performance in Alicepia while singing Kagayaiteku Kimi no Tame, Naviyu tells the trio that Natsu has become trending in Alicepia until they later met girl named Mikan Himura who was trying to create a dance style that is combined with martial arts and music. Inspired by this, he decide to help Minamo become a main star in her videos. In his house, they tried to come up with an idea of helping Minamo with her videos, like creating a story that is based on Cinderella, making a cosplay like a final boss from an RPG and tried singing and dancing like Kaede Sato, which none of them seems to be approved by her. When Minamo asked her friends for the advice to deal with her nervousness, Naviyu was being used as a stress relief by getting huffed behind her face just for relaxation, which he doesn't enjoy. However, he and the trio later discovered that the group of Jamaocks appeared in the park where they stole Mikan's Musessence and later transformed into Princesses to fought against them, until Zeal finally defeated an adult Pawn-type Jamaock with Kaede Sato's song fragment and later Zeal Rising Volcano, thus returning back Mikan's Musessence.
