Neville is a black tender engine whose personality made the engines think he is working with the diesels.

Personality

Sir Topham Hatt explained why he thinks Neville is working for Arry and Bert who are diesels. The engines start to get mad why Neville is acting like a diesel engine. This hurts Neville's feelings. Neville later starts to take Thomas's coaches, Annie and Clarabel. Neville almost fell off a bridge, but Thomas was able to rescue him. Thomas was sorry that it was a misunderstanding.

Appearances

Neville only makes his first appearance in the season 9 episode, "Thomas and the New Engine", and the season 12 episode, "Best Friends". He later appears in Season 11 with no dialogue.

Neville also appears only in five magazine stories.
