Nexus Prime and sometimes, unfortunately, known as Nexus Maximus was among the Primes in the Transformers universe, the first of the combiners. His unique ability to combine with any bots or separate himself into multiple independent components made him the ultimate combiner. He was characterized by his love for change and trickery, wielding powerful weapons like the Omni Saber.
History[]
As one of the original Transformers created by the deity Primus to fighting against the chaos entity Unicron, Nexus Prime was often seen as the jokester of the Thirteen, known for his unpredictable and light-headed nature. Known for his nickname as the Wizard of Forms, this reflected his control over form and change, a trait he shared with Amalgamous Prime. He possessed powerful weapons as the Omni Saber and the Cyber Caliber, which could split into smaller swords. He also often tested the weapons Solus Prime made for the other Primes, sharing a close bond with her.

Aligned continuity family[]
Nexus Prime was the seventh member of the Thirteen mentioned in the Aligned Continuity. Following a significant battle against The Fallen for killing Solus Prime, Nexus fragmented his own being into five separate, distinct components. Each component carried and guarded a piece of Nexus' weapon, the Cyber Caliber, which contained the Enigma of Combination. After fragmenting, his components hid it to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.
Cyberverse[]
The Cyberverse cartoon series, the concept references the first generation of the Thirteen Primes, which includes Nexus Prime as a concept but does not feature him in the animated series.
Transformers One[]
The film does not explicitly refer to the Prime for his name. This Prime as the others was ambushed and killed by the Quintessons.
