Nian is one of the supporting characters in Abominable and the Invisible City.
Physical Appearance[]
Nian is a giant magical creatures that resembles lion. He has green scaly skin with orange stripes. Nian has big wide dark gray nose and six spikes at the bottom of his chin. He has cone shaped horn on top of his head.
Personality[]
Nian was thought to have taken magical creatures into his cave to eat them but it is revealed that he take them because he is lonely. Like the rest of the creatures, Nian believes that Earth is his home. He feels appreciated whenever Yi and her friends help him out.

In the past[]
Originating from the Magic Realm, Nian lived in an isolated cave. Growing lonely, Nian took magical creatures unwillingly. Unfortunately, as truth passed onto legend, it was allegedly stated that after the creature took other magical beings, it allegedly devoured them.
