~ Nibbles challenging Milton and mocks him.
Nibbles Maplestick is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Gary De'Snake) of Disney's 64th full-length animated feature film Zootopia 2, the second installment of the Zootopia franchise.
She is a beaver podcaster and conspiracy theorist who is hired by Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde to help with a case related to reptiles.
Nibbles Maplestick is really kind and friendly when she's with Nick and Judy. She helps them move around Marsh Market without annoying or bothering the locals, and she's often described as "stand-offish around landies," meaning she thinks they should treat the locals with respect. She's also quick to point out when someone makes a mistake, like when Nick confused a juggling sea lion with a seal and gave it a coin instead of fish, which is what you're supposed to give in Marsh Market.
Nibbles can also be a bit wild, crazy, and quirky. She's into conspiracy theories and talks about interesting and sometimes controversial topics in Zootopia, like reptiles.
Appearance[]
She is a small beaver with tiny ears, a big black nose, a cowlick in her hair, and one of her front teeth is bigger than the other. She wears a dark green camo vest, a pinkish salmon-colored polo shirt underneath, and blue-green denim shorts.

Zootopia 2[]
While waiting outside Chief Bogo's office, Judy Hopps uses her phone to watch Nibbles' podcast called Scales and Tails of the Weird. Nibbles claims that Zootopia isn't just a city full of mammals, as it also houses a secret reptile population. She explains that most reptiles live abroad, as snakes are not allowed in Zootopia, and none have been in the city for at least 100 years.
Later that night, Judy watches another episode of the podcast, where Nibbles says Zootopia's 100th anniversary is also the 100th anniversary of the city's only snake attack. The victim was the Lynxley family's maid, who was killed by a venomous snake while trying to stop the snake from stealing the Lynxley Journal. Nibbles says that no snakes have been seen in Zootopia since, but she is convinced one will return, and wonders whether they will be wearing "half a pants" or one long sock. This prompts Judy to go undercover with Nick Wilde to stop another potential snake attack at the Zootennial Gala.
When Judy and Nick are framed for helping Gary De'Snake attack Bogo and go on the run from the ZPD, they escape with the Lynxley Journal and ask Mr. Big if it can prove that snakes were framed for attacking the maid as Gary De'Snake claimed. Mr. Big suggests she ask a reptile, who hide out in Marsh Market, and Fru Fru hands Judy Nibbles' business card, saying the beaver is a reptile expert. Nibbles soon shows up in her station wagon, keen to help them with their mystery. Nick insists Nibbles is crazy, but Judy reminds him she is their only lead. Nibbles narrates that their lives are about to change because they are about to become best buds with her.
The trio reach Marsh Market, where Nibbles eagerly shows them around. She explains that when Zootopia was founded, the neighborhood got cut off from the rest of the city, leaving the residents on their own, which might be why reptiles like it. She tells them the reptile that can help them is her associate, Jesús,, who commonly resides in a hide-out accessible by ferry. Nick then mistakes a nearby juggler for a seal, which angers him, and Nibbles corrects Nick that he is a sea lion. Nick tosses a coin into the juggler's bucket, which angers him further as Nibbles shows Nick a sign on the bucket that says coins are a choking hazard and the juggler should only be payed in fish. Nick then pats the juggler's flipper to apologize, and the sea lion freaks out and roars at him, causing Nibbles to have to step in and separate them. Judy tells Nick to let Nibbles take the lead, to which Nibbles thanks her and says talking to anyone different just takes open and respectful communication. As they reach a dock, Nibbles hands Judy and Nick a large fish and rings a bell to consult Russ, who rises from the water. After she and Russ exchange several "hey bubs" and raspberries, she asks him if he has seen Jesús, which he confirms before eating the fish and momentarily sinking back into the water. He rises back up with seats strapped to his belly, revealing he will be their ferry.
The three reach a partially-sunken ocean liner that they have to climb up. Nibbles listens to Judy and Nick stumble and argue on the way to the hide-out, commenting the real mystery is how they ever managed to solve anything. As they reach their destination, Nibbles tells them that if Jesús offers them food, declining is a sign of disrespect - to all of them. The hide-out's door is revealed to be a living tortoise's shell, and the interior is revealed to be a bar visited by crowds of reptiles. They finally meet with Jesús, and Nibbles tells him that they are investigating a snake mystery. A waiter sets down a plate of grubs, which she insists that Judy and Nick eat. Jesús orders the two to eat before they talk to him, and after they manage to choke down some grubs, Jesus looks at the journal and deduces that its metal cover holds a secret only vipers can see. The ZPD, who have been tracking down Judy and Nick, arrive and raid the bar, and Jesús helps Nibbles, Judy and Nick escape. Gary appears and steals the journal from Judy, and she and Nick pursue him as they are chased by the ZPD. Nibbles swims away and warns the two that if Gary jumps into the Tube Station's red line, they must not follow him or they will run out of oxygen in there. After wishing them good luck and telling them she loves them, Gary jumps into the red line and they follow him in it.
Nibbles is arrested some time later and taken to Prederal Prison, where Nick is taken to as well and is placed in a cell across from her. She notices that Judy is not with him, and asks if he wants to talk about why they split up. As Nick tries to pick his cell's lock, she urges him to talk to her, and Nick admits Judy told him they are too different after he told her their case isn't wirth dying for. He says that he doesn't have real friends, but he doesn't want to lose Judy. This earns him a hug from a pleased Nibbles, who reveals she picked her lock by gnawing a mop handle into a key. They overhear Captain Hoggbottom saying she has tracked Judy's location and she is headed to the weather walls, and Nibbles and Nick realize they need to make a quick escape. In another cell, Antony Snootley calls Nibbles a woodchuck, which makes her furious. The prison's guards notice her making a commotion and sound an alarm. Nick hits a button that he thinks opens the prison's exit, but it opens all the prisoners' cells instead. The prisoners escape in all of the police vehicles, leaving the two with no mode of transportation. Nibbles laments that they won't reach Judy in time unless Nick knows "the fastest driver in the history of Zootopia", which gives him the idea to call upon Flash Slothmore. As they enter his his car, Nibbles doubts Flash can drive quickly, but he drives off at full speed, the force throwing her around the car.
Flash's car arrives to their destination in time to shield Judy from a poison dart that was fired at her, and Nibbles and Nick head for the weather walls. Nibbles gets a head start and enters as the door shuts. The weather walls heat up as Nick tries to enter and begs Nibbles to open it, which it eventually does, and Nibbles explains it was stuck. They search for Judy inside and split up in different directions. She encounters Pawbert, who lies about being sent by Judy to find Nick before poisoning her with his venom injector, which she says she should have seen coming. She is later saved by Gary's Anti-Venom Pen, and watches Judy and Nick confess their feelings and their flaws, which Nibbles calls an overshare. She notices that Pawbert survived his fall after his fight with Nick, and she, Judy, Nick, and Gary take a snowmobile to follow him to the Lynxley Manor. She gnaws through the door to unlock it, and the other three burst in. She and Gary stay behind to fight off the Lynxleys while Judy and Nick chase Pawbert. As the Lynxleys prepare to attack, Nibbles encourages visiting celebrity Mayor Winddancer to be a real hero instead of just playing one on television, to which he complies and knocks out the Lynxleys. She and Gary then follow Judy and Nick to help them take down Pawbert, and she whittles a log into a baseball bat to knock him on the head with. The four successfully subdue him and make their way to Reptile Ravine to find Agnes De'Snake's original patent for the weather walls that proves Ebenezer Lynxley stole the credit for her invention.
Judy turns on lamps that reveal the hidden neighborhood, and Nibbles is amazed to see a long sock on a clothesline. They find Agnes's old home and watch as Gary finds the patent. Pawbert suddenly appears and flings a lantern their way in one more desperate attempt to burn it all down, but he was quickly knocked out by Captain Hoggbottom. She later appears on the news with Judy, Nick, and Gary, where she is stated to have helped foil the Lynxleys' conspiracy. She attends the reopening of Reptile Ravine and dances with Gary at Gazelle's Burning Mammal concert.

Trivia[]
The film's transcript briefly feigns that Nibbles is the film's twist villain and deliberately locked Nick out of the weather wall.
In the Junior Novelization, Nibbles says she learned to communicate with sea creatures in a partner class.
