Nicole Walker is the main protagonist of the 1996 psychological thriller Fear. She is a teenage girl whose boyfriend, David McCall, becomes obsessed with her, eventually threatening to kill her entire family.

She was portrayed by Reese Witherspoon, who also portrayed Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2, Vanessa Lutz in Freeway, and Ginormica in the Monsters vs. Aliens franchise.

Overview[]

Nicole Walker is a teenage girl who, while at a cafe, meets a handsome and mysterious young man named David McCall. The two end up together, but within a couple of weeks, Nicole realizes that David is becoming possessive of her and ultimately breaks up with him. David tries everything to get Nicole back, but when that doesn't work, he and his group of friends break into Nicole's home and hold her and her family hostage, which leads to some nasty consequences.

Summary[]

Nicole lives in the suburbs of Seattle with her father Steven, his new wife Laura, and Laura's son Toby. At a bar with her best friend Margo Masse and friend Gary Rohmer, Nicole meets David McCall and almost immediately falls for his good looks and charm. Nicole falls in love with David, but Steven dislikes him, and grows angry with him when he disregards Nicole's curfew and, eventually, has sex with her.
