Night Ninja is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Luna Girl) in the television series PJ Masks. He is the leader and the authority figure of the Ninjalinos, and Ninjaka's vigilante counterpart from another universe set in a vigilante setting.
He is voiced by Trek Buccino in Season 1, Devan Cohen in Season 2-mid Season 3, and Jacob Soley in Season 3-present.
Personality[]
Night Ninja rarely gets involved in a battle as he summons his henchmen, the Ninjalinos, to do his dirty work for him. He is the leader of the Ninjalinos whom he treats like soldiers. However, the episode "Owlette and the Owletteenies" reveals that even he has a softer side for his Ninjalinos. He is incredibly arrogant and haughty.
Another time Night Ninja showed that he has a softer side for the Ninjalinos was in "Wolfy Mountain", when one of his Ninjalinos named Marvin was hurt. After the PJ Masks helped him rescue Marvin, he agreed to share the Mystery Mountain and not keep it to himself. He even bowed and thanked the PJ Masks for their help, which shows that he can be respectful and sometimes even kind.
Night Ninja has also been shown to be very intelligent and cunning, as seen in the episode "Clash on Mystery Mountain". Night Ninja tricked Armadylan into getting An Yu's staff so he could take it from him and use it to send An Yu back into The Dragon Gong forever. He also stole a scroll that could make him invincible from the museum so he could get rid of the PJ Masks and Armadylan as well. His plan would have most likely succeeded if Teeny Weeny didn't betray him and teleport him off the mountain.
Night Ninja is friends with Luna Girl and occasionally Romeo. They sometimes are rivals and compete but they frequently team up together against the PJ Masks best seen in "PJ Masks vs Bad Guys United".
Appearance[]
Night Ninja has cyan accents on his face and feet in addition to a fully covered navy blue ninja outfit with stars that resemble midnight skies. Night Ninja wears tabi or ninja boots underneath his shozoku (ninja uniform), same like his Ninjalinos. His eyes are blue.
After receiving the Six Rings of Ninja Magic in the Season 6 episode "Heroes Everywhere," Night Ninja's clothing was changed to include red stripes around him in the shape of flames, highlighted by white stripes, but the tiny white star-like dots are no longer there. Light blue and white stripes encircle his waist, and white and light blue accents may be seen on his feet, wrists, and mouth. Light blue stripes also go down the sides of his torso. In addition, he wears six different-shaped rings: one each in white, red, and yellow on one side, and light blue, white, and green on the other.

- In “Wolfy Mountain”, when one of his Ninjalinos named Marvin was hurt. he helped the PJ Masks rescue Marvin, and after he and Marvin hugged he agreed to share the Mystery Mountain and not keep it to himself.
- In “The Disappearing Ninjas”, he help the PJ Masks and Anyu to save Mistery Mountain and his Ninjalinos form Romeo.
- In “Pharaoh and The Ninjalinos”, he and Gekko save the Ninjalions, Catboy and Owlette form Pharaoh Boy.

- He arrived on Mystery Mountain first among the bad guys.
- He occasionally joins Romeo in "Catboy and the Shrinker" and "Wacky Floats" to battle the PJ Masks. He and Romeo, on the other hand, frequently quarreled and didn't get along, with the exception of "PJ Masks Vs. Bad Guys United," where they appeared to get along. In that episode, Night Ninja allied with Luna Girl as well.
- In "Owlette and the Owletteenies," he exhibits a vulnerable side, and Owlette even emphasizes this, which causes him embarrassment.
- When one of his Ninjalinos encounters problems in "Wolfy Mountain," he teams up with the PJ Masks which make him the second antagonist to team up with team.
- He is the first bad guy to desert his own goons.
- He is the only character so far whose face hasn't been shown.
- He is good friends with Luna Girl, although they sometimes argue and blame each other for their faults.
- Despite his and An Yu's hatred towards each other, they are speculated to have feeling for each other.
