Nina (Ferdinand)

Nina is one of the main characters of the Blue Sky Studios animated film Ferdinand. She is Ferdinand's owner.

She is voiced by Lily Day and Julia Scarpa Saldanha as young.

Appearance

Nina is a young girl who wears a blue short-sleeved shirt, dark blue pants, and white shoes.

She has brown eyes and brown hair that is kept in twin-tails. She also wears a yellow hairband.

Personality

She is amiable and kind.

She loves her father, Paco and Ferdinand. She is loyal and shares a special bond to Ferdinand since childhood.

Role in film

When Ferdinand eventually winds up at a florist's farm, and is adopted by the owner Juan, his dog Paco, and his daughter Nina with whom he shares a bond.

When Juan, Nina, and Paco go to Ronda for an annual flower festival, Ferdinand decides to go anyway, resulting in him getting stung by a bee and unintentionally wreaking havoc around town and is taken away back to Casa del Toro, much to his and Nina’s sadness.

When news of Ferdinand's upcoming fight with Brandon Bull makes its way to Nina's home, she, Juan and Paco set out to Madrid to find and retrieve Ferdinand.

Ferdinand is reunited with Nina, who embraces him. Ferdinand returns home with Nina, Juan, and Paco. They are joined by the other bulls, the hedgehogs, the bunny, and Lupe, who all move into the farm.
