Noah Clay, or Noah is one of the primary protagonists of The Ring. He is the formerly lover of Rachel Keller and one of the many victims of Samara Morgan. He was the last victim of the first murder case.
He was potrayed by Martin Henderson.
Biography[]
The Ring[]
At some time after their separation, Rachel calls Noah, an ex-boyfriend, to show him the video and asks for his assistance based upon his media-related skills. He asks her to make a copy for further investigation, which she does, but later takes it home herself. Noah finds a psychiatric file on Samara which mentions a missing video record last seen by Richard. Noah arrives and he and Rachel enter the barn. In a loft converted to a bedroom to isolate Samara from her mother, Noah along with Rachel find an image of a tree behind the wallpaper; Rachel recognizes it as a tree at the Shelter Mountain Inn.
Later, Noah returns to the cabin at Shelter Mountain Inn, where they are led to a well beneath the floorboards. Noah remove the lid and Rachel is pushed inside. A hand grabs her, and Rachel experiences a vision of Anna suffocating and dumping Samara into the well, where she survived for seven days. Samara's corpse surfaces from the water.
After Rachel is rescued from the well, both him and Rachel arrange a proper burial for Samara. Noah determinated say to Rachel that they are now safe as more than seven days have passed since she watched the videotape. In the end, when Noah returns to his home, he saw his tv flickering then replaying a footage of a well. Samara crawls out, followed with Noah now terrified and not understanding why the spirit is still there, he tries to escape from it and desperate running away, but unfortunately, Noah failed to escape it as later he was discovered as a corpse.
Rachel became heartbroken of losing Noah and went home in an anguish stage and told Aiden to go in his room she takes the tape and ask the dead girl what did she want from her when she asks herself what did she do that Noah and the others didn't she realized she was ultimate spare because she copied the tape
And show him the original tape that she destroyed and realize her mistake was erasing the tape message on her phone without telling him that he only have a couple of days left to copy and give it to someone else.

- He is the reincarnation of Ryūji Takayama, both are males, friend of the protagonist (in Noah case, ex-boyfriend) and very supportive of their various.
