The Northern Cardinals are major protagonists in the Angry Birds franchise.
They are (mostly) red spotted birds who tend to hold more authority over other Angry Birds, such as Red being the leader of all birds on Piggy Island and Ruby being one of the more respected birds.
Appearances and traits[]
The most recognisable trait of this particular species are their large bushy eyebrows that give them an irritated look even when they aren’t angry. They also have darks that are darker than their overall plumage, pointy beaks and two head feathers
One unique cardinal is Tony, who isn’t red due to being leucistic and has far fluffier plumage that resembles fur. Another one is Ruby who may be an example of sexual dimorphism in the northern cardinals.
General Personality traits[]
Cardinals tend to be the most violent and vengeful Angry Birds, Red and Ruby are stated to be the angriest creatuees on planet earth and Terence’s rage increases his own size temporarily, they have a hatred for pigs and are the most protective of young or unborn birds. It's unknown if Tony has such traits.
