Nowa is one of the main protagonists of the indie JRPG video game Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. He is a young man from a remote village who eventually leads the Alliance Army against the invading forces of the Galdean Empire.
Overview[]
Nowa grew up with his younger sister Leene in Kyshiri Village; a small community in the League of Nations situated next to the regional border. His mother passed away while he was a child and was raised by his father who eventually sacrificed himself to protect his village from monsters. Around the age of seventeen, Nowa felt he needed to do something different with his life to help others in need and left home to become a member of a mercenary organisation called the Eltisweiss Watch. His first assignment was to assist a collaboration effort between the League of Nations and the Galdean Empire as they search for an exceedingly powerful Rune-Lens known as a Primal Lens. Nowa and his teammates managed to successfully secure the lens but their discovery paved the way for war six months later when Dux Aldric of the Empire unleashed his military might upon the League to seize more Rune-Lens from the land. Lies about the Watch and the destruction of Nowa's hometown was used as an excuse to start the conflict, leading Nowa to form the Alliance Army and combat the invading Empire's forces.

Nowa is a helpful, kind and determined young man who is said to be a busybody and has a tendency to meddle in other people’s affairs in order to help them with their problems.
