Nozomi Yumehara is the main protagonist of Yes! 5 Pretty Cure and its second season GoGo, as well as it's sequel series Kibou no Chikara ~Otona Pretty Cure '23~. She goes by the alter-ego of Cure Dream.
Biography[]
While Nozomi was once a normal girl, she ended up in a dark alleyway after being distracting by a pink butterfly one day on the way to the bus stop. There she accidentally ran into a mysterious young man who ran away before he could introduce himself. Later on the same day, Nozomi met Urara Kasugano following her publicly embarrassing herself. Following class, she encountered the same man from before and followed him only to discover he was actually a fluffy fairy by the name of Coco. She also found the Dream Collet before a Girinma appeared and attacked Coco. Nozomi summoned the butterfly from earlier in order to optain the Pinky Catch, using it to transform into Cure Dream. She ten fought and defeated the Kowaina Girinma had summoned to fight Coco. Coco thanked her for saving him and she agreed to be a Pretty Cure from then on and help Coco fight Eternal and find the rest of the Pretty Cures to help them do so.
Personality[]
Nozomi is a kind and sweet girl with a very optimistic outlook on life and the world as a whole. In spite of her generally being rather untalented, she still enjoys every moment of her life for all it's worth and demonstrates compassion towards everyone, including her enemies. However, Nozomi has a tendency to keep her head in the clouds and is rather naive on most things. She also tends to get distracted rather easily and is somewhat clumsy. She can also be rather impulsive more than once, often acting out of her emotions without forethought.
When she transforms into Cure Dream, is much more mature and serious and she is not that cheerful.
