Ocha-Maro Karakuri is one of the major characters in the Samurai Shodown fighting game series.
History[]
During the Heian era, the famous onmyoji understood the existence of the demon world and foresees danger. He created a puppet army and fought against them after his death. In peacetime, these puppets perform Shinto dances for the gods, and their performances usually take place on the doll stage of the Tenkaku-za.
A century ago, when Mizuki and her demon woke up, the puppet army and dozens of Buddhist monks went to the mountains together. Osor sealed her. They have succeeded but lost the price of most puppets and men. The surviving monks and puppets returned to the Tenkaku Theatre.
There was only one cockroach, Ocha-Maro, who was not intact before the Samurai Shodown VI and woke up. It learned that all his friends were dead, Shuimu broke the seal, and the demon activity was rising. Ocha-Maro left to perform the duties of the warrior as a fighting demon.
Trivia[]
- His "birthplace" is very precise, and references two ancient streets in Heian-kyo (now known as Kyoto) which pinpoint his place of construction as being in the top right area of the ancient capital.
