Odin Borson (Earth-12041) 002

Odin is the ruler of Asgard and father of Thor. When he was taking the Odinsleep, his other son, Loki, tried to kill him and become the new king, but was stopped by Thor and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees.

Whilst still in the Odinsleep, Dr. Doom took control of the Destroyer from Odin, though that issue was resolved by the Avengers.

Later, after awakening, Odin appears after the celebration of Thor's Day, scolding his son for missing the banquet in his own honour. The two argue over Thor's double life and the frailty of humans until they are interrupted by Heimdall, who tells Thor of strange happenings on Earth. Thor leaves, Odin swearing that one day humans will disappoint him with their weakness.
