At a first glance, Vanille seems to have a childlike innocence but she hides a maturity befitting her age. Vanille is a considerate, compassionate, understanding, and at times, headstrong and stubborn person. Vanille is also empathetic, easily driven to tears, and deeply caring towards other people, Fang in particular, whom Vanille looks up to like a sister. In Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero -Promise-, Fang describes Vanille as naive, curious about everything, careless at times, a crybaby and a scaredy-cat. Fang says that she also laughs a lot and is kind to everyone. Vanille remains positive in situations others deem hopeless. She tries to cheer up her friends when they're down, and see the bright side of things. |
