Officer Dangus

Officer Doris J. Dangus is a recurring male character in the Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks television series. He is voiced by Michael Bagdasarian.

Description[]

Dangus is one of the police officers for the town, but he is bad at his job most of the times due to Alvin and Simon's crazy antics. He always gets the job done and is part enemy and friend with the Seville and Miller families because they are a bit of enemies due to Alvin's bad antics.

Appearance[]

Dangus is a tall Caucasian man with brown hair and wears a navy blue police cap and large brown sunglasses. His uniform is typical for a police officer, sporting a blue button-down, collared, and short-sleeve shirt tucked into his black belt and dark blue pants. He wears black dress shoes, and usually carries a nightstick, a walky-talky, and handcuffs on his belt as well as his watch on his right wrist.

Personality[]

Dangus tends to be a firm cop, especially with Alvin, though, when proven wrong on an issue, he becomes softer and a little insecure. He does not always do his job as a cop and not always that bright considering his advice for kids to take whatever dangerous risks necessary to be a hero. He's also seen to be very emotional about other cops making fun of him behind his back and his own shortcomings as an officer after losing his police car and bike. Even though Alvin can give him a hard time, he will side with Alvin when Dave is hurting his confidence.

Trivia[]

The design of Dangus' walky-talky changes after his premiere, flashback episode.
He has an unnamed nephew, revealed in "The Sub", and a dog named Turly, revealed in "Prank Calls".
He is younger because it is also revealed that he has an older twin brother named Dirk, who is a detective, that bullies him, as revealed in "Double Dangus".
He runs a social media page for his cat named Mr. Sparkles, as revealed in "Gone Gal".
Despite looking very athletic, he has difficulty traversing fences, stating his thin wrists can't hold up his muscular body.
His first name was revealed in "Double Dangus".
His voice sounds like Cheesy, or a female person.
