The Ogre Resistance is a group of ogres that live in a hidden ogre refuge led by Fiona. In the alternate universe, the ogres are slaves and are immediately captured by witches if they get spotted. The resistance aims to overthrow Rumpelstiltskin and reclaim their freedom.
In Shrek Forever After, the Ogre Resistance was trying to take Far Far Away from Rumpelstiltskin. When they figured out that Rumpelstiltskin was going to search for them, they set up a plan to attack him. When they do this, it was revealed that the Pied Piper was in Rumpelstiltskin's place. And then, he started to attack the ogres by letting them dance. The Ogre Resistance was captured and locked in Rumpelstiltskin's castle until Shrek freed them by offering himself. Donkey tried to save Shrek, but Gretched stopped him from getting captured by the witches. And then, Brogan, according from Princess Fiona, said that she was right about Rumpelstiltskin's palace being locked tighter than before, Cookie mentioned that the palace was guarded with mean ugly nasty witches, and they told him that they could hear them. Puss tries to think of a way to save both Shrek and Fiona, but Donkey thought of something clever when he saw the other ogres with the shield belt. And then, he said that he and Shrek busted out the palace the same way that we're going to bust in. Later the Ogre Resistance sneaked into Rumpelstiltskin's palace by hiding in his new crystal ball. Once Puss gave them the signal, they broke out, and defeated Rumpelstiltskin. In the original universe, the Ogre Resistance was seen hanging out with Shrek and his friends.
