Old Deuteronomy is the wise leader of the Jellicles and one of the protagonists in Cats.
In the original 1998 film, he was portrayed by Ken Page, who also originated the role on Broadway 16 years prior, and voiced King Gator in All Dogs Go to Heaven. In the 2019 remake, she was portrayed by Judi Dench.
