Oogtar is a major character in the Super Mario World animated series. He is a cavechild who aided Mario and friends and a member of the Cavemen. He is shown to be particularly close friends with Yoshi, though they do get into fights once in a while. He is a show-exclusive character.
He acts as a replacement for Toad in the show and is voiced by John Stocker, who also voiced Toad in the previous cartoons of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! and The Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoons.
History[]
Oogtar made his debut in Ghosts R Us. He hid in the Enchanted Forest, with Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Yoshi trying to find him. While they're searching for Oogtar, Mario, Luigi and Peach were captured by the Magikoopa, Wizenheimer. Yoshi eventually finds Oogtar and the two allies set off to rescue Mario, Luigi and Peach.

Oogtar is the caveboy who has a light skin complexion and short blond hair. He wears a green loincloth with orange shadings.
