Opal is an character in "Giant Woman" which is the fusion form of Amethyst and Pearl together. By synchronizing together via dancing, the two can fusion of a powerful gem, an "amalgam of their combined magical and physical attributes fused into a single entity". However, when a disagreement between the two happens (such as an arguement between the two), Opal is then separated into Amethyst and Pearl.

Appearance
Opal is a tall gem, only formed when Amethyst and Pearl fuse together. She has long white hair, and 4 arms. She is wearing mostly Pearl's clothes, and has 2 gems, (both Opal) on her forehead and chest. She also has her own weapon, which is a bow, and is created when she fuses Amethyst's and Pearl's weapons together.

- She is the second fused Gem to be featured in an episode, as Garnet has been fused for possibly decades or centuries despite not being revealed until "Jail Break".
- The "dance" the two must perform to fuse is a reference to the Fusion Dance in DragonBall Z, even to the part where the two fusees must be willing to bond when needed.
