Optimus Prime or Optimus Prime Mode-Eva is the main protagonist of the crossover web story Transformers Mode: Eva.
Appearance[]
His normal form display Optimus Prime's usual red and blue color schemes
In his Optimus Prime: Mode Eva form it makes him large ad Evangelion Unit-01 and has it's color scheme of the mecha of it's usual purple and green with the Matrix of Leadership and his axe red.
Personality[]
Optimus Prime has the usual personality like all other versions being benevolent as he wish to protect humans from the Angels and from facing another Second Impact as he jumped to defend Tokyo-03 from the Angels and Starscream who possessed the former.
History[]
Optimus Prime along his fellow Autobots Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack would arrive to Earth on Sky Lynx to see Tokyo-03 in the middle of an Angel attack where Optimus Prime swore to stop another Second Impact however before they can combat the Angel, Starscream's Ghost would possesses it and become Angel-Scream. Optimus Prime would see Evangelion Unit-01 beint deployed where he senses it as an living being and scanned it, becoming it's size and colors to shock of Angel-Scream and Misato Katsuragi's shock. There the Autobot leader would battle the Angel-Decepticon Hybrid though his attacks got blocked out by it's A.T Field where Angel-Scream attempted to blast him ane Evangelion Unit-01 but he shields the mecha from harm. As he kept fighting Angel-Scream where the Decepticon-Angel hybrid was crushing his head, Bumblebee taunts Angel-Scream to chase him where Misato transform Tokyo-03 to trip the Angel-Decepticon Hybrid tripping him long enough to allow him Optimus Prime to use his axe to rip out it's core and drive Starscream into space.
Later on after Optimus Prime is back to his normal size he would have the Autobots and NERV Unite against Decepticons and Angels alike who may show up here.

- It was stated Optimus Prime did meet Unicron, Galvatron but was offscreen and implies events similar to Transformers: The Movie are canon.
