Optimus Prime is a main protagonist of 2025 Japanese anime web series Transformers: Wild King.
He is voiced by Keita Tada.
Biography[]
Prior to their arrival on Planet Elementros, Optimus Prime heard from his friend Megatron about the Elemental Energy.
Optimus arrived on the Planet Elementros to look for a friend named Megatron after he failed to call him for a response. But suddenly, he accidentally encountered a cheerful and energetic giraffe Energy Beast named Lightlong, who bears the Lightning Elemental Energy on his chest. When Megatron and Captain Volca are firing Jurassic Ball Fire at them, Optimus steps ahead and blocked the energy beam with his axe, while he becomes horrified of the former's betrayal.
After avoiding Megatron and Volca's Volca Burning, Optimus was kicked down to the ground by Megatron. After hearing about both tribes of the Energy Beasts and Megatron and the Dinosaur's Tribe's plans of conquering the Planet Elementros, Optimus attempt to stop Megatron and his plans until he was knocked away by Volca who taunted him and calls Megatron a "hero" who will bring his tribe's glory on the planet. Touched by his courage and heroism, Lightlong asked Optimus if they could Wildocking together, which the latter accepts. Optimus and Lightlong later merged together into Lightning Optimus, ready to fight against Megatron and the Dinosaur Tribe.
With Lightning Energy through wildocking with Lightlong, Optimus unleashed Lightlong Slash at Megatron by strike at Captain Volca's head and later deflected Jurrasic Vol Flare. Before Megatron and Volca could do anything, Optimus had enough strength to send Megatron flying away by punching at his face, much to his surprise. After Leafback return back to Megatron and merged with him by replacing his left arm, both Optimus and Lightlong were almost annihilated by their Jurassic Leaf Flare.
It turns out they're actually survived and both Optimus and Lightlong were taking a refugee in a cave where they later meet up with a shy and kind-hearted Hydrophant. After discovering they haven't received news from Drillnohorn, Optimus explains that Megatron is in league with the Dinosaur Tribe, causing Hydrophant who became afraid and runs away in fear. Hearing about how powerful Hydrophant is, Optimus believed that he would make a good ally for them. While they went after Hydrophant, Optimus and Lightlong avoid a tree after it was crashed by Hydrophant. When Spirituan is about to attack Hydrophant, Optimus arrives and stops him from attacking Hydrophant, before reminding Hydrophant that he needs to stand up and fight what's important to him. After Spirituan kicks him away, Optimus is shocked to see that Ignite Leo is already in "league" with the Dinosaur Tribe.
After being asked if he's the hero from the outside, Optimus is being attacked by Ignite Leo until Lightlong managed to stop it and Wildocking with Optimus, becoming Lightning Optimus. They attempt to unleash Lightlong Slash at Leo, but only to be blocked by Spirituan's Earth Defense. When Leo mocked Lightning Optimus and attempt to finish them off, Hydrophant cannot bear to see his friend getting harmed and transformed to protect them by launching a stream of water at Leo. Impressed by his newfound determination and confidence, Optimus began to Wildocking with Hydrophant, becomes Lightning Aqua Optimus. They finally unleashed Hydro Thunder Splash at Ignite Leo, defeating both him and Spirituan. After Spirituan explains about the Element Shield, Optimus witnessed Spirituan being taken away by Megatron before he is being merged with him.
