Osul-Ra, also known as Red Son, is a significant character in the Prime Earth continuity of the Superman comic book series, known as one of the super twins. He hails from Phaelosia and was formerly a slave and gladiator on Warworld. He was later adopted by Kal-El (Superman) and Lois Lane, and the younger twin of Otho-Ra. As a member of the House of El and the Superman Family, he plays a crucial role.

Origin[]

Osul-Ra and his sister, Otho-Ra, are descended from the House of Ra, an ancient Kryptonianlater Phaelosian family. His homeworld, New Phaelosia, was tragically attacked by Warworld when he and Otho-Ra were very young. In this devastating event, their parents and older brother lost their lives. The twins were forced to grow up in captivity, confined to cells beneath the arena. They never experienced any other way of life and consequently assimilated into the Warzoon culture. They idolized Mongul, the ruler of Warworld, and eagerly awaited the day when they would become old enough to participate in the arena battles and forge their own chains of conquest and power.

Personality[]

Osul is kind and showing compassion apologizing even to villains, despite from the old days Osul-Ra is a Phaelosian and former slave/gladiator of Warworld who was later adopted by Kal-El and Lois Lane. Despite his difficult past, he has a strong desire to move on from the trauma and fully embrace his new family. He is dedicated to fighting for justice alongside them. Among the twins from the lands of Mongul, Osul-Ra is the more amiable and less suspicious one. He has become accustomed to relying on his sister's care, despite being twins. Osul-Ra is highly adaptable to societal norms and displays a carefree personality. He finds joy in playing video games, watching live fights, and spending quality time with his newly adopted family.

Physical Appearance[]

Osul is a Phaelosian boy with hair tied in a braided ponytail and brown eyes. Osul-Ra's superhero costume, as a Phaelosian boy and member of the Superman Family and the Super Twins, is depicted with an oriental-inspired design. His outfit consists of a sleek and form-fitting bodysuit that is predominantly white in color. The bodysuit features intricate golden patterns and accents, adding a touch of elegance to the costume. It covers his entire body, including his arms and legs. The design incorporates elements inspired by traditional Eastern martial arts attire, such as high collars, flowing sleeves, and decorative sashes. Notably, his costume is nearly identical to his twin sister's, Otho-Ra, but with the colors reversed, showcasing their connection as siblings and partners in their superhero endeavors.
