Dr. Owen James Harper was one of the main protagonists of the British television series Torchwood, a spin-off of the long-running sci-fi show Doctor Who.
He is the Chief Medical Officer of the Torchwood Institute's Cardiff-branch, Torchwood Three.
He was played by Burn Gorman.
Bio[]
Owen is Torchwood's resident medical officer. He likes alcohol and sex, and is known to be shockingly intelligent on occasion. At the first glance, he uses an alien pheromone spray on himself to date rape both a random woman and her boyfriend. From that point on, though, he goes through absolute emotional trauma, and gradually becomes a much more agreeable, likeable person.
