~ Ozymandias introducing himself. |
King Ramesses II, also known as Ramesses the Great, Ozymandias, the King of Kings, the Sun King, and Meryamun, is a supporting character in the Japanese science fantasy franchise Fate.
King Ramesses the Great, otherwise called "Ozymandias," was an incarnation of the sun god Ra and the greatest Pharoah of ancient Egypt. Exceedingly wealthy and powerful and beloved by his people, the King of Kings reigned for many years and had many monuments built in his honor that still remained standing in the modern era.
Ozymandias is voiced by Takehito Koyasu in Japanese and by Stephen Fu in English. Fu has also voiced Weather Report in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero, Noé Archiviste in The Case Study of Vanitas, Seiji Shishikura in My Hero Academia, and Lance Crown in MASHLE: Magic and Muscles.
Roles[]
Ozymandias is a major antagonist in the 2014-2017 light novel series Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver and a playable character in the 2015 turn-based tactical role-playing mobile game Fate/Grand Order. In Fate/Grand Order: Observer on Timeless Temple, the first part of the story of Fate/Grand Order, he appears as a major character in its sixth chapter Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot and a cameo character in its eighth/final chapter The Grand Temple of Time: Solomon.
By extension, Ozymandias is a major character in the 2020 anime film Fate/Grand Order - Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Wandering; Agateram and the 2021 anime film Fate/Grand Order - Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Paladin; Agateram, which collectively serve as a two-part adaptation of the sixth chapter, and a cameo character in the 2021 anime film Fate/Grand Order: Final Singularity - The Grand Temple of Time: Solomon, which serves as an adaptation of the eighth chapter.
Appearance[]
Ozymandias was a tall man with light brown skin and a slender yet muscular build. He had golden eyes that shone like the sun, and medium-length black hair which he sometimes kept swept back.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Heroic Spirit Physiology: Ozymandias was an exceptionally powerful heroic spirit, capable of facing off against several Servants simultaneously without even having a source of magical energy to draw upon.
- Condition Enhancement: Ozymandias had a pair of skills that allowed him to enhance the power of himself and his allies. The skill "Charisma," derived from his personal charm and strength as a leader and commander, allowed him to bestow inspiration in forces serving under him and temporarily increase the offensive capabilities of himself and his allies during battle. Due to being an example of an exceptional ruler, the King of Kings had a fairly high-ranking Charisma skill. Ozymandias also possessed a high-ranking "Imperial Privilege" skill, originating from his divine right to rule, which allowed him to briefly make use of skills that he didn't possess. Via his acquisition of foreign skills, Ozymandias could heal his own injuries, temporarily enhance either his overall defense or offense, or, depending on his luck, gain all three boons simultaneously.
