P.A.M. was created from a joint project between the United States army and the Defense Intelligence Agency to create AI's that are able to predict possible dangers like nuclear war before they happen so it can be prevented. P.A.M. was fed data by the scientist and given a body for more mobility. This also made it easier to relocate her in case of a attack. After the bombs fells all the scientist were killed from the radiation leave P.A.M. stuck in hibernation for the 200 years. P.A.M. was discovered by the Railroad main engineer Tinker Tom who brought back online. P.A.M. was then programmed to aid them in there crusade to free all synths becoming a vital member of the organization. P.A.M. was present at the switchboard when it was raided by the institute luckily she was saved by Railroad agents and relocated to the new Main HQ in the Old Norman Church. P.A.M. is one of most vital asset to the railroad preventing many dire disasters for the organization.
