Pabu is a fire ferret who belongs to Bolin. His agility and sharp teeth make him dependable in sticky situations. He has been Bolin's partner in crime on more than one occasion. He is also known to play practical jokes on Mako.
Appearance
He is a fire ferret.
The original inspiration for Pabu was Futa, the "seemingly-bipedal red panda who had captured the adoration of the Japanese public" years ago during the production of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Personality
Although he often gets into trouble because he is mischievous.
History
The story of how Mako and Bolin come to adopt Pabu is featured in the Nickelodeon three-part web series Republic City Hustle.
Bolin rescued him from a local pet store.
