Palme is the titular main protagonist of the 2002 anime film A Tree of Palme. He is a puppet created by his father/creator, Fou, out of a kooloop tree, who was originally design to help a woman named Xian after she got from a serious illness, before she passed away.
Until one night, he meets a woman named Koram. She gives the egg of Touto, along with oil to keep it alive, and tells him that he must go to Tamas. After Palme’s father gets killed by three men from the Mohi tribe, Fou tells Palme that the oil will give him new strength and keep him alive and heed Koram's request and set out for Tamas.
He is voiced by Akiko Hiramatsu in Japanese and Kira Vincent-Davis, who voiced Kokoa Shuzen in Rosario+Vampire and Salia Tereshkova in CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon, in English.

Palme is a gentle and compassionate puppet. He is initially heartbroken by the death of his mistress Xian and struggles with his own emotions and the nature of his robotic existence. He is then drawn into a quest to deliver a mysterious egg, encountering new friends and ultimately learning about love, friendship, and the meaning of humanity.
Appearance[]
Palme is mystical wood robot, who almost appears to be a little boy. He wears a long sleeve shirt, a red sleeveless shirt, pants, gloves, shows and a yellow hooded cloak. Palme also has a mystical pendant, containing Crosskahla oil, around his neck. Within his robotic body, Palme contains the egg of Touto and oil that makes it his blood to keep him alive.
