When Orgemon starts looking for them. Elsewhere, Mimi Tachikawa is seen holding a Digivice with Palmon beside her.
When Taichi & others are captured by Palmon who mistake them for fruit thieves and they are brought to Mimi, who is ruling over a village of Tanemon. Orgemon puts Tuskmons under his control and sends them to attack the village. Taichi and Sora confront the invaders while Mimi and Palmon are attacked by Orgemon, who attacks by surprise riding a Drimogemon. Palmon is badly hurt while protecting Mimi, who uses her Digivice to evolve her into Togemon. Afterwards, Mimi and Palmon bid farewell to the Tanemon and join the others on their journey.
Komondomon on which they are travelling is forced to stop because of a very strong series of musical shock waves that end up making the Digimons behave strangely of the protagonists. When Mimi tries to convince them not to use strong ways to decide who will be the best, so the two begin to challenge again in a rap race. The usual sound waves reappear, and Palmon, holding a maracas seems to begin to resist the enormous upheaval and digivolves into Ponchomon.
Togemon is Palmon’s Champion form. She resembles a cactus with boxing gloves.
Ponchomon is Palmon alternate Armor form. She resembles a ghostly version of Togemon with a Mexican hat. She takes this form to form a musical combat with Etemon and Volcamon, and defeats both of them.
Lillymon is Palmon’s Ultimate form. She resembles a child-like flower fairy with wings.
Rosemon is Palmon’s Mega form. She resembles a humanoid beautiful rose woman.
