Papa Zola is a major protagonist of the BoBoiBoy franchise. He is the main protagonist of the in-universe Papa Zola franchise who is accidentally brought to the real world and becomes a mentor to BoBoiBoy's Gang. He later becomes a teacher at Rintis Island Primary School and continues to guide the heroes from there.
He is voiced by series creator Nizam Razak.
Personality[]
Papa Zola is known for his "paternity" superhero style. The purpose of being a superhero is to "uphold the justice". He also showed his wisdom when training Gopal. Papa Zola always cares about the justice and loves to use the word or call himself "justice" in any situation.
After Papa Zola came out of his gaming world, Papa Zola tried to find a new job to earn a living by interviewing every company on Rintis Island. After trying for a long time, Papa Zola finally became a Mathematics teacher and loved to ask complicated test questions in the 5 Honest. Apart from that, Papa Zola is also a Physical Education teacher and referee in football games in its school.
Even though he is a dedicated teacher, who takes his duties seriously, He can be quite childish and self-absorbed.

Original Series[]
Season 1[]
Papa Zola's first appearance was in the movie from TV, where Boboiboy and Gopal watching it, Then he got angry when his enemy, the Sleep Monster, came to Earth and destroyed its beauty. In Season 1 episode 8, he entered Tok Aba's house at the same time that BoBoiBoy and Gopal had come out of the game that they were trapped in before. Gopal mentioned Papa Zola's name, and Papa Zola then learn from Gopal. But suddenly, he gets hungry when he want to going learn from Gopal, Then Papa Zola ate the food and then he was eating Yaya's cookies then fainted. Afterwards Papa Zola was awakened by Gopal, who told him that the Sleep Monster had also come to the real world, along with Adu Du and Probe.
In the Sleep Monster's dream, Papa Zola and the Sleep Monster were about to fight. However, Gopal challenged them to play checkers. But, Papa Zola lost the first round, then after replacing Papa Zola from Playing checkers, Tok Aba won the second round, then his foot was hit by checkermates when the Sleep Monster smashed the checkerboard on third round (As Sleep Monster lose on Checkers), and his foot got stuck. Later, BoBoiBoy defeated the monster.
Season 2[]
After failing several job interviews, Papa Zola finally got a job as a Math and P.E. teacher at Rintis Island Primary School.
Season 3[]
In Episode 2, He choose to used Yaya's power band to attack Ejo Jo and specifically because of pink color, as he is known for his love of all things pink, (as appear in all series). In Episode 10, He's love for his wife, Mama Zila, drove him to enter the game world, in order to rescue her.
BoBoiBoy: The Movie[]
Ochobot was kidnapped by the Tengkotak team with the intention of using it to find the Klamkabot, an ancient and powerful Power Sphere hiding on Earth. Papa Zola along with his students raced against time to save Ochobot and at the same time reveal the secret behind the mystery of the Sphere of Power. When he is abandoned by his disciples, he forces Adu Du and Probe to help him to find the disciples of him.
Boboiboy Galaxy[]
After the events of the movie, Papa Zola is thought to have continued his job at Rintis Primary School. However, he was also present when Koko Ci arrived on Earth, and it is later revealed he wished to do their adventure, and then he had hiding on their ship when they left.
Papa Zola later was appointed into TAPOPS Captain. after he was Successfully to defeat over a space mosquito that had endangered BoBoiBoy.

- Gravity Manipulation: During the fight with Ejo Jo, BoBoiBoy and his friends' power watches were removed and Tok Aba, Papa Zola, and Iwan choose which power band to use for the fight, Papa Zola decided to Yaya's power band to attack Ejo Jo and specifically because of its cuteness, Papa Zola showed emense gravitational power.
- Flight: Papa Zola used Yaya's power band to fly and make Ejo Jo lose concentration on unleashing Fash's Shadow Dragon. He also used to fly during inside his Game.
- Superhuman Strength: When Ejo Jo unleashed the Shadow Dragon, before it appeared Papa Zola kicked Ejo Jo far away and did heavy damage but that has quickly interrupted by Ejo Jo unleashing his Shadow Clone and did heavy damage to Papa Zola.
- Enlargement: In Papa Zola's show and The Dream World Papa Zola used to have the power enlarge himself to be comparable to a skyscraper but he is unable to use it in the real world.
Skills[]
- Whip Proficiency: During his debut Papa Zola's signature weapon was his Golden Whip which he uses to fight and save people, his whips is strong enough to cut food it half, but his whip is used by Gopal's Dad everytime he fails his test, in BoBoiBoy Galaxy Season 2 Papa Zola now uses his whip as punishment when his students get his questions wrong.
- Piloting Skills: In BoBoiBoy Galaxy Papa Zola became the captain and pilot for TAPOPS and for BoBoiBoy's Team, Papa Zola even used Solar Panels as fly swatters to destroy the Strongest and Biggest Space Mosquito which is the reason he became a pilot and captain for TAPOPS.
- Card Game Mastery: In BoBoiBoy Galaxy, Papa Zola is shown to be able to beat Jokertu in a Card Game Battle without becoming serious in which Jokertu is a all-time champion of an entire Galaxy.
