History[]
Tomorrow Never Dies[]
Her husband, Elliot Carver is trying to start a war with England and China, so M sends Bond to investigate him, but warns him that his ex-girlfriend, Paris Carver, is around there and tells him to ask only what he needs, not to dwell on their backstory.
However, the two meet again at the party in Germaia, where Bond poses as a banker. Their meeting after a long time is bad, in which Bond says: "I always wondered what it would feel like seeing you again", this angers Paris who throws a hard slap in Bond's face shocking all the guests, and saying a horrible question: "Do you still sleep with a gun under your pillow?". Paris believes that Bond is only interested in him to get information about her husband, so she lies to him about her by telling him that she is out. After Carver talks to her, he sees the security footage that Henry Gupta sent him and shows her to Paris, she tells him that no one ever makes her cheat on him.
After Carver's henchmen attempt to kill Bond and Wai Lin, Paris runs to him to warn him, Bond chases her at first, but then they attract each other.
The two of them make love and then Paris reveals everything Bond needs to know. Bond then offers to protect her from her evil husband, but she rejects her saying that no one can protect her from Carver.
Having spied on her, Elliot is convinced that she has betrayed her, having never even believed her, and so he sends Dr. Kaufman to kill both her and Bond. He only manages to kill Paris after a great torture in the bedroom where they are.
Bond is desperate with this and kills Kaufman, and then after being kidnapped with Wai Lin by Carver, the latter reminds him of Paris's death. However, Bond manages to break free, save Lin and kill Carver, avenging Paris.
At the end of the film, Bond sees Paris's lifeless body one last time and kisses her one last goodbye.
