Parvati Patil is a supporting character in the Harry Potter franchise. She is a young witch of Indian descent and the identical twin sister of Padma Patil. Unlike her sister who was sorted into the Ravenclaw house of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Parvati was sorted into the Gryffindor house.
She wars portrayed by Sitara Shah in The Prisoner of Azkaban and by Shefali Chowdhury in The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, and The Half-Blood Prince.

As the identical twin sister of Padma, Parvati shared her sister's long black hair, though Parvati usually wore her hair in a plait. Like her sister, Parvati usually wore a silver necklaces with the letter "P" hanging from the chains around their necks and over their ties during their Hogwarts years. The only difference in Parvati's sense of fashion compared to her sister would be her school uniform in Gryffindor's colors due to that being her house while Padma was sorted into Ravenclaw.
