Special Agent Patterson is an FBI analyst and one of the main characters in Blindspot. Most of her role is usually non-action as she spends most of her time decrypting information for the team. Patterson is played by Ashley Johnson who also provides the voice of Ellie from The Last of Us series, Gretchen Grundler from Recess, and Terra from Teen Titans.
Personality[]
Patterson often displays dedication to her work, which ended up resulting in her taking charge of the FBI's science division. Because of her efficiency, Kurt Weller's team assigned her to analyze the tattoos on Jane's body.
In her personal life, Patterson is often shown to be a geek. She often spends most of her free time playing board games and figuring out crossword puzzles.
One of the mysteries surrounding Patterson is that many of us don't know what her first name is. It isn't until the final season where we learn that her first name is William.
If there is any area where Patterson is insecure about it would be in her love life. Almost everyone she ends up falling in love with ends up either dying, in the case of David, or betraying her, in the case of the FBI's former medical personnel and Sandstorm mole, Robert Borden.
