Paul the Samurai[]
Paul is a samurai from Japan who has vowed to destroy the evil ninjas in the original Ben Edlund comic, the Tick. His arch enemy of Sagin the Wolf. Paul meets and befriends the Tick when he comes to America in pursuit of Sagin's evil ninjas. Paul eventually earned his own self titled spinoff series.
Personality[]
Paul is an honorable samurai who is bound to tradition to a fault. He loves to brandish his katana, but due to traditions that obligate him to draw blood before his blade can be sheathed, Paul has cuts all over his hands. Paul is devoted to eliminating his vile enemies, the ninjas. Paul cares about his companions, the Tick and Oedipus, and is angered by her injury, though not to the same extreme extent as the Tick.
